Welcome to my humble abode of movies, gaming, & weird techie goodness. :)

Video games = “crack for the brain”?

The Times have an interesting article on their site today demonising video games.

Xbox in the firing line... again

After reading, and laughing out loud many many times… I couldn’t help but wince at the prospects for the author’s career.  I know that when I was a journalist, if I’d written something as innacurate, misinformed and ill-researched – my job would have been in jeopardy.

The writer obviously has had no experience of video games in any form, and has also never bothered to even research her chosen topic to bash. Thanks to this, she’s made herself out to be pretty stupid… and having a quick flick through the (at the time of posting) 137 comments, its obvious that 99% of readers feel the same.
